So, you want to make money online?

Okay, so, if you’re like me, you are pretty new to this whole idea of making money online. Maybe being your own boss pique’s your interest? Well, me too!

In this article, I want to share with you 5 ways to make money online as a beginner.

#1 Become a Social Media Influencer

Since we just looked at affiliate marketing in How to Monetize a Blog (Part 1), this seems like the most appropriate place to begin our list.

You see, building a social media presence is a fantastic way to make money online! By sharing affiliate links with your followers, you earn money when your audience-members make online purchases through your links. #2  Sell Stock Photos

Do you absolutely love taking pictures? Are you actually really good at it?

Well, if you are, selling stock photos can be a fun & easy way to earn money online, as a beginner! Because all you really need to get started, is a digital camera & some basic editing software, you can probably get started today!

Just continue to take great pictures (of whatever it is that you love) and sell your images on online stock photography sites. You will earn a percentage or commission from each photo that sells!

Even a small percentage can become useful income, when you sell your photos often! If this is something you really love doing, stick with it! Develop your skills and see just how well you can do as a stock-image provider!

#3  Make Your Own Digital Products

If you want to begin to make money online, then digital products, such as infographics, courses, newsletters, and eBooks, can serve as an impressive passive income stream!

As with affiliate marketing, you must have an audience to whom you promote your digital products. Now, remember, if you sell digital products online, there are associated fees. Credit card usage fees, website and email maintenance, and advertising costs, will all dip into your profit margins. So, be careful that you are making money, not losing it! #4  Become a Freelance Writer

Freelance writing means you work as a writer for different companies at different times, rather than being permanently employed by one company. This is an excellent way to make money online!

Seek out and partner with other bloggers, business & website owners, who are seeking to expand their content and/or business reach. If you market yourself correctly, your earning potential is vast!

The most difficult aspect of being an online freelance writer might be connecting with your potential clients. So, you might try reaching out directly to business & website owners via email and social media platforms, and simply ask to write a blog post for their business/page. Have some samples of your work (a portfolio) to show your capabilities to potential clients.

If you are brand-new to online freelance writing, seek out established writers, and develop solid relationships! Oftentimes established writers are swamped in workload! #5  Sell Notes You Took in College Classes

Did you go to college? Did you do pretty well in college? If so, you are anything like me, you kept your notes because you knew how valuable they really were! I mean seriously, at over $10K per semester, I want to have access to this information life-long!

Well, guess what, other people value access to this information too! That’s right! And, that means you can sell copies of your notes online! They say knowledge is power; well, it is also a good way to make money online! Look at these note-selling sites.
